Editing is hard!

That being said, i can see that at the end of all this, my book will be so much better and i will have learned so much! Hopefully that will make me a better writer and the next time a book needs edits they will be few. When i first got the edits back from the editor i was a bit disappointed. Here i was thinking that i really was a talented writer. I guess i am, i did get a contract. I just have sooo much to learn. My biggest hang up it seems is POV or point of view writing. I tend to just tell the story as it appears in my head, without thought to which point of view it's coming from or should come from. Luckily, however, i was saved by a fantastic friend of mine, who said she would help me with it. So if you don't see or hear from me in a few days, check in on me. I may need to be rescued! So fear not, if you are new to this too, i will hold your hand and help you along as well. It's not as scary as it seems. in the mean time, gather your friends, promote others who are busting their butts too and enjoy the ride! Because we truly are all in this together.
